DESCRIPTION:Charlevoix Performing Arts will present its spring musical\, Mamma Mia! for three shows Friday-Sunday\, March 20-22 at the Charlevoix Middle/High School Auditorium. \n\n\n\nShowtimes are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets\, to be sold at the door\, are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students. The Sunday matinee will also have a family admission special of $20.00 (2 adults and 2+ children/students).\n\n\n\nMamma Mia! is a jukebox musical written by British playwright Catherine Johnson\, based on the songs of ABBA composed by Benny Andersson and Bj rn Ulvaeus\, former members of the band. The title of the musical is taken from the group's 1975 chart-topper "Mamma Mia".\n\n\n\nStudents playing lead characters in the production include: Maya Whitley as "Sophie\," Helen Hanchin as "Donna\," Margaret Sheets as "Tanya\," Avery McCreadie as "Rosie\," Liam Speer as "Sky\," Dominic Schwein as "Harry Bright\," David Hitts as "Bill Austin\," and Sean Bradley as "Sam Carmichael".\n\n\n\nIn all\, about 30 high school and middle school students make up the cast and crew\, with direction and choreography by Jodi Thompson and Emily Chapdelaine.\n\nIf you have any questions about the show\, please see our facebook page\, Charlevoix Performing Arts.
