DESCRIPTION:Join LTC and the Petoskey Regional Audubon Society (PRAS) at this new preserve. A delightful mix of habitats supports a wide diversity of birds. This will be the peak of songbird migration\, so expect to see a wide array of species during this walk. It is possible that even a species that is rare to Northern Michigan could show up. Plan to spend approximately two hours hiking the trails while learning to identify birds by sight and sound. Current PRAS President\, Darrell Lawson\, will lead the trip and help to both locate birds and explain their behavior. Register by calling LTC or visiting our website.
