DESCRIPTION:Join us for a few free & fun nature outings at Old City Park this summer. Intern\, Jalie Shemanski\, will be sharing three of her favorite nature activities. These activities are geared toward the early childhood ages (3-6ish years young)\, but families of all ages are welcome! The programs encourage families to explore\, learn\, and discover together. All the materials the kids need will be on hand\, but they are welcome to bring their own if they have any. No reservations are required to attend\, but for questions\, email charlevoixcd.intern@macd.org or call the district office at 231-582-6193. Using provided aquatic tools such as dip nets and collection jars\, prepare to explore the stretch of the Boyne River that runs through Old City Park. Plan to get your feet wet and roll up your sleeves as we turn over rocks\, scoop along the river bank and discover underwater life there.
