North Central Michigan College's Luncheon Lecture will look at the health impacts of climate change on Friday, May 6. The luncheon will be in the Library Conference Center. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon. Elizabeth Del Buono, M.D., surgical pathologist, Munson Medical Center, will review the health impacts of climate change, explain why it is necessary to address these issue, and suggest policies that health professionals and others should support to transition quickly to a low-carbon economy. Dr. Del Buono is a volunteer with a local chapter of the non-partisan grassroots group Citizens' Climate Lobby. Reservations are required.
