About Us

Beaver Island Boat Company was established in 1984. Over the years there has been 19 different ferries with our two most recent being the Beaver Islander and the Emerald Isle.

"Ride the Boat" from the bridge of Charlevoix to the beaches on Beaver Island. The ferry ride is approximately 2hours and 15 minutes long. Pack a light cooler with drinks and snacks to enjoy during the ride if you wish. Enjoy the road less traveled once you arrive. Experience the natural beauty and biodiversity the island has to offer.
