Breaking Boundaries Collage
August 9 & 10 2023
Wednesday, and Thursday 1 - 4 PM
Class Fee: $140. non-members, $126. members
2 day mixed media!
Learn to layer and collage abstract landscapes or florals. Break the edges of the frame - making them interesting and dynamic! The class will start by creating an under painted background with acrylics on a 12" x 12" wood cradle board. Next learn to make collage papers by mono printing on a Gelli plate. On our second day, with your made and supplied papers we will tear, cut, layer, and collage leaving rough edges. To finish we will add details with paint, colored pencils, and metallic pens. Demonstrations, classroom time and coaching with artist Julie Tibus!
