GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. We've created a directory to help you find organizations, charities, events, and more in your own community.

Munson Healthcare Charlevoix Hospital

Charlevoix Area Humane Society
The Charlevoix Area Humane Society is participating in the international Giving Tuesday Campaign.     The Non-Profit No Kill Shelter is fortunate enough to have matching donations dollar for dollar for the first $11,000 donated on that day!

The Charlevoix Elks Lodge #2856
The Charlevoix Elks Lodge #2856 is deeply committed to the betterment of their communities and surrounding areas through charitable and patriotic service.  In addition to our community and charitable activities, we are also a very social organization, offering a variety of activities for our Members and their guests. Our Lodge often invites community groups in for recognition and to hold special events, and also provide facilities for the celebration of many of life's special occasions. All of these programs, projects and activities help prove the Michigan Elks a valuable partner for the community they serve, and, in turn, helps support our growth and community outreach.

Charlevoix Conservation District
This Giving Tuesday...consider donating one of the following items to assist the efforts of your local conservation district: stackable chairs, signs, folding tables, easy-up tents, compact refrigerator, latter, tool storage, portable construction lights, and work trick (work truck- new or gently used for field work). 

or, sponsor a Conservation event: Beachgrass Harvest Days, Summer Garden Party, Annual Meeting, Fall Native Plant Sale, and Spring Seedling Sale.
