GLCO's Little Waves children's music program at Charlevoix library

Charlevoix Public Library is hosting "Little Waves," a young children's music program.  Free and open to the public and sponsored by the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO), the program is designed to introduce young children (ages 4 - 10) and their families to music in an entertaining setting.  Each drop-in event takes place at 1 pm in Charlevoix starting on Sept. 10. The theme for 2022/2023 is "Musical Adventures.” Each approx. 40 minute session features a multimedia story, an opportunity to hear one or more GLCO musicians demonstrate and explain how their instruments work, and fun music-related activities for kids.
