Name: Summer Nature Program: Queens & Kings of Wild Things
Date: July 19, 2023
Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM EDT
Event Description:
Join us for a few free & fun nature outings at Old City Park this summer. Intern, Jalie Shemanski, will be sharing three of her favorite nature activities. These activities are geared toward the early childhood ages (3-6ish years young), but families of all ages are welcome! The programs encourage families to explore, learn, and discover together. All the materials the kids need will be on hand, but they are welcome to bring their own if they have any. No reservations are required. For questions call the district office at 231-582-6193 or email: charlevoixcd.intern@macd.org Listen to the story Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak, where the main character Max lets his imagination run free. We will explore the park in search of natural treasures to make our crowns and let our imagination run free. Natural materials will be on hand to help you build, along with anything on the ground that we don’t have to pick!
