Primary Purpose of Job:

Manage the Bank’s Operations by following and enforce bank policies and procedures.  Abide by and enforce all compliance regulatory requirements.  More specific job duties are listed further down (not all-inclusive).

Education & Experience:

Sophisticated Knowledge of Banks Products, Systems and Internal Operational Structure.   Ongoing training of compliance regulatory requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Be approachable to resolve employee and customers concerns or issues
  • Administer an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, operational standards and procedures for an accurate and consistent recording of all operational activities.
  • Help assess and mitigate various Bank risks
  • Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping management informed of all critical issues
  • Administer various Bank systems
  • Reports to the Vice President of Operations
  • Member of the Incident Response Crisis Management Team
  • Create reports for all areas of the Bank for use in monitoring, reporting,  contacting customers and other decision making needs
  • Backup for several areas ( IT, deposit operations, branch management at SS)
  • Oversee, direct, and organize the work of the Operations Dept. (bookkeeping)

  • Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, ensure provision of timely and appropriate training, set objectives, establish priorities, and participate in annual performance reviews
  • Responsibilities include: item processing, electronic recording, third party transfers, official customer correspondence (statements, notices, etc.), customer service for deposit accounts, on-line/mobile and telephone banking, ATM/debit cards, deposit account maintenance, third party official correspondence (verifications, garnishments/levies, etc.)
