The Machine Lead will be safety and quality focused.  The Machine Lead is responsible for assisting the departmental supervisor with scheduling work assignments, quality inspections, job-set ups, and normal productivity of the Machining department.  They will be a subject matter expert in machine set up, operation, programming and troubleshooting, and all quality, cleaning, and safety protocol for the department. 

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
3-5 years of experience in a production environment, specifically in setting up, operating, and programming CNC machines is required
Advanced skills in reading blueprints and solid models, and utilizing measuring devices such as calipers, height gauges, thread gauge and gauge pins are required
Willingness to learn new processes & procedures, and to lead employees in work area
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift 60 lbs.
Intermediate math and problem-solving skills, including shop math skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict management skills
