What If Your Office Was an Entire Destination?
Your work might take you from a laptop to a lighthouse, from a community meeting to a local business, or from designing a campaign to capturing the perfect photo along the shoreline.
Visit Charlevoix is looking for a Marketing Manager who can bring creativity, organization, and energy to the job of telling Charlevoix's story. This is a hands-on role on a small team, where you'll have the opportunity to shape marketing campaigns, create content, design materials, coordinate events, build relationships, and see your work come to life throughout the community.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who genuinely loves Charlevoix. You should understand what makes this community special and be excited to share that story with visitors, residents, businesses, and the travel industry.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and execute destination marketing campaigns across digital, social, print, email, and other channels.
- Manage Visit Charlevoix's website, social media, email marketing, blog, and digital content.
- Create compelling written, photographic, and video content that showcases Charlevoix throughout the year.
- Create and design marketing materials, digital graphics, advertisements, and other visual content
- Plan and coordinate tourism events, familiarization trips, meetings, promotions, and other special projects.
- Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, media, photographers, designers, agencies, and tourism partners.
- Help maintain accurate, engaging, and up-to-date information across Visit Charlevoix's marketing platforms.
- Monitor marketing performance and use data and insights to improve results.
- Represent Visit Charlevoix at community meetings, tourism events, industry conferences, and other functions.
- Bring creativity, curiosity, and new ideas to the way we market Charlevoix.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Loves Charlevoix
- Enjoys storytelling and knows how to turn an idea into engaging content.
- Is organized, dependable, and able to keep multiple projects moving at once.
- Can work independently while being a strong member of a small team.
- Is comfortable jumping between strategy and hands-on work.
- Pays attention to details and follows projects through from idea to completion.
- Builds relationships naturally and enjoys working with people.
- Is curious, adaptable, and willing to learn new tools, platforms, and technologies.
- Is passionate about tourism, hospitality, events, and community development.
