Job Description

Be a part of one of Charlevoix’s long-standing businesses! The Clothing Company is more than a local clothing store, it is a community. The ideal crew member is well-rounded and willing to partake in many aspects of the job, this may include supporting customers, merchandising, daily cleaning tasks, checking in new merchandise, backstocking, opening/closing duties, cash-handling with accuracy, creating displays, etc. 
 

We are looking to hire TWO full-time year round crew members, 40 hours per week ideally. Must have an open personal schedule and be able to work most  weekends, and occasional nights. Available for major retail/tourism periods Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Sidewalk Sales, Labor Day Weekend, Applefest, Thanksgiving Weekend, and December Holidays.

        A retail or customer service background would be great, however, we are always willing to work with someone who is coachable no matter         their prior work experience!

-Must love clothes and connecting with people.

-Must be task oriented, cleanly, coachable, productive and a self starter.

-This is a physical job. Some days are more active than others, but daily movements at The Clothing Company include working the sales floor,   lifting 25 pounds, creating displays using a ladder, shoveling snow (this is a shared labor in the winter), weekly mopping and vacuuming.
