C5 Arts Benefit Dance

The Joshua Davis Band will be performing at the C5 Arts benefit dance for the Charlevoix Circle of the Arts on July 5 in Bridge Park, downtown Charlevoix.

The evening will start off at 6 pm with an opening act and gourmet BBQ from Charlevoix's own "Pigs Eatin' Ribs". Drinks will also be on sale from Scovie's Gourmet, featuring a variety of Short's Beer and Traverse City wines.

At 7 pm the Joshua Davis Band will take the stage playing their own brand of American roots music with gritty rock n' roll and vintage soul. Performing Songwriter magazine called it "Some of the liveliest and most rockin' roots music around." The band features some of the best players in the Midwest, including front-man Joshua Davis, winner of Best Album at the 2012 Jammies. Joshua is also the lead singer and songwriter for the band Steppin' In It and Shout Sister Shout.

Tickets are just $16 in advance and $20 at the door. Proceeds from the event will support the Visual and Performing Arts in the Charlevoix area.
