Charlevoix Performing Arts presents "The Wizard of Oz"
Charlevoix Performing Arts will present its fall musical, “The Wizard of Oz” for three shows Friday-Sunday, November 22-24 at the Charlevoix Middle/High School Auditorium. Our show is an adaptation of the story best known from the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz,” which featured Judy Garland in the role of Dorothy Gale and is celebrating 80 years of magic! Students playing lead characters in the production include: Emily Olach as “Dorothy,” Sean Bradley, as “Hunk/Scarecrow,” Madeline Hanchin as “Hickory/Tin Man,” Luke Sarya as “Zeke/Lion,” Avery McCreadie as “Auntie Em,” David Hitts as “Uncle Henry,” Karissa Givens as “Miss Almira Gulch/Wicked Witch,” Dominic Schwein as “Professor/ Wizard of Oz,” and Helen Hanchin as “Glinda”. In all, about 40 high school and middle school students make up the cast and crew, with direction and choreography by Jodi Thompson and Emily Chapdelaine.

Fees/Admission
Tickets, to be sold at the door, are $10 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and students. The Sunday matinee will also have a family admission special of $20.00 (2 adults and 2+ children/students).
