Explore the history of clubbing in Northern Michigan with local historian Rick Wiles. Club Manitou was a hotbed of activity from late 1920s up to 1954 when it closed, including gang activity and operating as a speakeasy during prohibition. Club Manitou then morphed into the Club Ponytail, a teen club which operated during the 1960s and hosted many famous bands during that time. Come learn more about these two fascinating clubs!
