Concert: Italy - Vivaldi's Four Seasons and Selections from Respighi

Come join us for an afternoon of inspired live orchestral performances and a pre-concert talk with GLCOs Conductor Libor' Ondras. Today's concert features Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons concertos first published in 1725. "Concerto No. 1 in E Major, RV 269, "Spring" - Concerto No.2 in G minor, RV 315, "Summer" - Concerto No.3 in F Major, RV 293, "Autumn" - Concerto No.4 in F minor, RV 297, "Winter" GLCO will present selections from Ottorino Respighi, one of the most celebrated Italian composers of the early 20th century. Ancient Airs and Dances III, Italiana (Anonymous); Arie de Corte (Giovanni Basttista Besardo); Siciliana and Passacaglia.
