Depot 127 A Celebration of our 1892 Colors

Come celebrate the restoration of Charlevoix's historic train depot. In 2018, the Historical Society completed needed restoration work on the exterior of the Depot. In the fall, the depot was repainted to its original 1892 color scheme. To celebrate, the Society, in partnership with the Charlevoix Circle of Arts, is holding a Plein Air Paint Out and Wet Paint Sale. Come, watch artists, as they paint the newly restored Depot. The finished artwork will be for sale on site. In addition, there will be guided tours of the Depot with the history of the railroad, and visitors can view the interior exhibit panels and photographs. Light refreshments will be served.
