Folias

The Folias Duo consists of flutist Carmen Maret and guitarist Andrew Bergeron. For the past fifteen years, this husband and wife duo has established themselves as one of the world’s premier composer/performer ensembles for flute and guitar. Having composed more than fifty original compositions for this intimate combination, Folias Duo’s performances have taken them to venues throughout the United States, Europe and South America. Bergeron and Maret have a fearless approach to developing new repertoire, an expertise for Argentine tango, and a passion for South American folk, jazz and world music.
