All year long we are so deeply blessed to have a Coast Guard able and ready 24/7 to rescue us from our folly and emergency situations. We intend to show our "Coasties" some Traverse City style lovin' and make sure that nobody falls through the cracks, or lack for food, heat, medical needs and other essentials during the Government Shutdown. The VFW will administrate the direct assistance to those affected by the US Government Shutdown via their Relief Fund, managed by the VFW Quartermaster.
