This session will explore questions about the methodology used to develop GE crops, the effects of current GE crops on agriculture, environment, animal and human health, the social and economic effects of GE crops, and prospects for the use of new GE characteristics in the near future. The class will use published summary articles and the facilitator’s personal experiences to stimulate discussion about the myths and truths regarding GE crops and their role in the future of global agriculture. Class #1: Food for a Hungry World is a series of 3 classes on a common theme. When registering for Class 1 you are also registering for Class 2 and 3. Registration is required.
