Local Appreciation Day at Castle Farms

We?re opening the Castle gates on Monday, Memorial Day, May 26th, and celebrating with FREE self-guided tours. If you?re a local year-round resident living in Charlevoix, Emmet, Otsego or Antrim County, visit Castle Farms from 11 am ? 4 pm for a FREE tour (local ID required). See Norm, the Castle?s new dragon, featured in the Dragon?s Lair Garden. Climb the railroad towers for a bird?s eye view of the Castle?s Model Garden Railroad (with over ½ mile of track and more than 65 G-scale trains, it?s one of the largest in Michigan). Tour the great stone buildings, stroll the Castle gardens, visit the museum, view the collections, plus feed the fish in the Reflection Pond? all for FREE. Charlevoix Band Boosters will be on site, serving food. The Charlevoix Chamber of Commerce will be on hand at 1:00 pm for the official Ribbon-Cutting ceremony and the Grand Opening of the Castle?s newly expanded Gift Shop. Have fun catching up with old friends, plus make some new ones, as well as happy family memories at Castle Farms of Charlevoix.
