Movies in the Marina- Goonies
The Monday Movies in the Marina series is generously sponsored by Charlevoix Cinema III, a locally owned independent movie theatre located on Antrim Street in Downtown Charlevoix.
There will be five movies shown in the park this summer. All movies are rated PG, however, some films may contain material not sutible for all children, parent please be advised.
June 23 . PG . The Goonies
Mikey Walsh and Brandon Walsh are brothers whose family is preparing to move because developers want to build a golf course in place of their neighborhood-unless enough money is raised, which is quite doubtful. But when Mikey stumbles upon a treasure map of the famed "one-Eyed" Willy's hidden fortune, Mikey, Brandon, and their friends set out on a quest to find the treasure in hopes of saving their neighborhood. The treasure is in a cavern, but the entrance to the cavern is under the house of evil thief Mama Fratelli and her sons Jake and Francis Fratelli, and the severely disfigured Lotney "Sloth" Fratelli.
