Northern Michigan Chorale Presents: From Broadway to the Silver Screen
The Northern Michigan Chorale returns to Center stage for TWO nights this spring to entertain you with favorite music from Broadway and Hollywood, featuring popular songs from musicals that made it onto the silver screen...including the first Ziegfeld Follies! The Chorale is a 70-voice, non-auditioned, non-profit group performing uplifting concerts both spring and fall under the direction of Julie Pierpont. www.nmchorale.org Joining the Chorale for their Saturday concerts is The Grand Traverse Show Chorus, chartered in 1954 and made up of women from all over northwest Michigan. In 2016, the group qualified for an international competition held in Las Vegas where they placed 4th in the world in the small chorus division.
