Van Pelt Alley Presents…. Oktoberfest 2018 in Downtown Charlevoix Van Pelt Alley will transform into a German Biergarten with stage for live music, dance floor, outdoor seating, and authentic German food and bier. When Friday, September 14th, 5-10 pm (Blues / Rock: Donny Hartman Band, 5-9 pm) Saturday, September 15th, 3-10 pm (Authentic German Band: Immigrant Sons, 5-9 pm) German Food Bratwursts, Knackwursts, Hungarian Sausage, German Potato Salad, and Sauerkraut by The Cantina Homemade Pretzels with Bier Cheese by That French Place / Brian’s Ice Cream Experience German Cucumber Salad by The Salad Fork Beverages Authentic German Bier, 1 Liter Steins & Half Liter Steins Free Wine & Soda Sampling inside the Cherry Republic Kid’s Activities The Cherry Republic is planning kid’s activities, Saturday from 3-5pm, to include a pit spit contest, cookie eating contest and soda ring toss. Boomer the Bear will also be present for photo ops.
