Oleson's Food Stores in Charlevoix and Petoskey are partnering with the Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan to assist the agency's Safe Home - the emergency shelter providing a secure, supportive residence for domestic abuse survivors and their children in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Otsego counties. November 16-27, Oleson's will provide shoppers the opportunity to donate a dollar as they check out, which will go directly toward Safe Home needs. The Oleson's Foundation is offering to match the first $1,000 raised. Participating Oleson's Food Stores are located at 112 Antrim Street, Charlevoix and 2000 North US-31 Highway, Petoskey. A non-perishable food drive hosted by Lite 96.3FM will also take place at the Petoskey Oleson's store from 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, November 25.
