Petunia Planting Day
Come out and join the fun of planting over 70,000 petunias in the city of Charlevoix. This event begins at 4pm and goes until 6pm. Planters are welcome to arrive at any block and begin planting. Each block that is being planted will have a designated block captain, in a neon colored shirt labeled "block captain" that can help with any questions or give guidance!
Once all petunias are planted, there is a volunteer picnic in the park following the planting- approx. 5:30pm- to celebrate the volunteers and the hard work contributed to keep Charlevoix beautiful. The picnic will have free picnic items like hotdogs, chips, etc for all planters.
This is a great way to volunteer and have a huge impact on the city of Charlevoix. Planting day is an event that you do not want to miss!
