V-Twins for Vets Poker Run & Pig Roast

The Charlevoix Elks Lodge #2856 is hosting the 6th annual poker run and pig roast to benefits veterans and their families on September 13, 2014. Last year this event raised and gave over $12,000 to veterans. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. in beautiful downtown Charlevoix and a pre-event show commences in the pavilion at 11:30 a.m. Bikes leave town by police escort at high noon and following 5 venue stops returns to Charlevoix for a pig roast, live auction and music at 5 p.m. Last year, over 80 bikes participated in a ride up M119, the tunnel of trees. This year?s ride is currently being planned but as always will include beautiful views of northern Michigan. $30 includes the ride, poker, dinner, auction, and music. The cost is just $15 for riders who do not wish to play poker or those who wish to just participate in the dinner, auction, and music. Pre-registered riders will receive an event t-shirt for free on the day of the ride as well. This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC so anyone can participate by scooter, car/truck, or motorcycle or just attend the post-run events. Hope to see you all there!!
