Winter Forest Snowshoe Exploration
Neil Wilson, pastor at First Congregational church in Charlevoix, leads a challenging snowshoe hike through the Raven Ridge Nature Preserve. This preserve consists of a hilly 140 acres near East Jordan, and adjacent to the Raven Hill Discovery Center. Neil will share his knowledge of the sights and sounds in a winter forest from his history in timber management. You are invited to warm up with hot cocoa at the Discovery Center and explore their exhibit after the field trip. Admission is $10 for the Discovery Center. Please park at the Raven Hill Discovery Center. please let us know if you would like to borrow snowshoes.
