Ikebana Floral Design Class

Have you ever wanted learn the ancient art of Ikebana Japanese flower arrangement? Join Dolly Smith and Patti Bishop, members of Ikebana International Organization of Traverse City! ? Dolly & Patty will demonstrate and assist you in making a beautiful Ikebana arrangement using specific pottery vessels by local artist June Otis. This workshop will focus on 2 variations of Ikebana called Ikenobo Shoka Sanshuike and Ikenobo Free Style, as well as skill building. Each participant will get to take home a completed arrangement in their Otis Pottery vessel! Includes all materials, flowers and Otis Pottery floral arranging vessel.
