"Lilacs A Bloom" Watercolor Workshop with Megan Swoyer

In this beginner Watercolor Lilacs Abloom workshop, artist Megan Swoyer will teach students how to capture an arrangement of Michigan lilacs tucked into a farmer’s market-style glass jar/vase. Megan will lead students on a fun, unique-technique watercolor journey, where they’ll be using everything from white crayon and watercolor paints to salt and paper clip edges. The layered, end result will feature lost-and-found edges, pretty and fresh washes, glass reflection and, of course, the ever-enchanting lilacs, all evoking a Michigan summer’s day.
