42nd ANNUAL APPLE FEST- CANCELLED
***While 2020 Applefest may be cancelled, you can still take part in fall-themed fun - with the Applefest Poker Run!***
The Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Apple Fest scheduled for October 9-11th. This was an extremely difficult decision to make, as difficult as it has been to see the COVID-19 impact not decreasing as the year has progressed. We had hoped to get through the summer season with a more confident outlook into the safety of hosting this event in October, however we feel this is the best decision to continue mitigating risk in our community. We know our community rallies behind this event every year – our area orchards and farmers enjoy the chance to showcase their seasons’ efforts, our businesses rely on the season-end sales, and residents invite friends and family to enjoy in the festivities. The impact of Applefest does not go unnoticed, and we will continue all of our best efforts to help our area through this.
