Green infrastructure is a cost-effective, resilient approach to managing wet weather impacts that provide many community benefits. It reduces and treats stormwater at its source while delivering environmental, social, and economic benefits. Watershed Protection Director Jennifer Buchanan will present an overview of green infrastructure techniques, including rain gardens, green roofs, and permeable pavers, that can be used in both the residential and commercial settings to help protect water quality. Please contact the Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council at 231-347-1181 to reserve a seat.
