What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings like a pro.
- Take accurate measurements and plan layouts for flawless execution.
- Select the right welding methods and equipment for each project.
- Prepare components for welding—cutting, grinding, and setting up for success.
- Weld in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead) using manual or semi-automatic equipment.
- Inspect and test welds to guarantee strength and quality.
- Perform repairs and fill gaps when needed.
- Maintain your tools and keep the workspace safe and organized.
- Proven welding experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Skilled in TIG, MMA, and other welding techniques.
- Comfortable using manual and power tools (saws, calipers, squares).
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Steady hands, sharp eyes, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety standards and commitment to PPE.
- AWS or other welding certifications? That’s a big plus!
