Working Hours
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:00am
Training on 1st shift (Monday - Thursday, 6:30am - 5:00pm)
Summary
The Quality Inspector/Auditor I is the first level of quality control inspector. This role, under close supervision, will perform inspections while following standardized methods and procedures and will inspect and or check using multiple methods and instruments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacturing of products
Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production
Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes
May work on additional requests and projects as determined by the Quality and Safety Manager
Utilize basic computer software to communicate effectively with other teams and record findings
Read blueprints and use measuring tools
Lead in enforcing work instructions
Other duties may be assigned at any time
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required
0-2 years of general work experience
Understanding of general aspects of role including blueprint reading
Keen eye for detail and a team focused attitude
Basic computer skills are required
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
